Chipotle Mexican Grill - Santa Cruz

I have been to this restaurant a few times and I have to say it is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. I have lived in 6 different states and I consider myself a Chipotle regular. They always seem to be out of at least one, if not several, items that I want. They also only seem to do online orders, which is quite inconvenient and frustrating for customers. The portion sizes of their bowls and burritos are about half of what you would get at a "normal" Chipotle. Additionally, they do not drain the water from the mild salsa when they serve it, making the burrito soggy. If you're looking for a good burrito, I would recommend going across the river to Taqueria Jalapenos y Pupuseria on Ocean St. They are fantastic!

The people who work here are nice, but this place needs a new manager. müll over the floor and the counter, no utensili, missing drinks that we have bought over the app, external were really (real) dirty, etc. and it is not as if they were busy. there is an order about the app only place. there was no one except the three workers. the Stale chips have removed it.

After a long day on boardwalk 7:50 pm and was advised that they only take online orders. no explanation for why...5 employees roaming around the kitchen and no eye contact or a friendly explanation why they do not personally command.

I am a native who has never tried this restaurant and wanted to take a quick lunch on the way to work. the personal refused to serve us. we said that they only take online orders, I had told the personal that I had no device to do an online order and offered to wait until they had finished the online orders that were before me. the personal was incredibly rude and said that they didn't go in vain and I had to place an order online. worse restaurant service I've ever had, and I'll never try to buy it again. I went hungry and angry, I then went to betty’s burgers and had a delicious lunch with wonderful staff.

Its 9:26 pm and they have no guac, no white rice, no chips, no mild salsa mix. Been like this for a while now and well honestly I just wouldnt order here. Especially online since they are always out of almost everything!
