Crow's Nest - Santa Cruz

On August 27, 2022, my husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Crow's Nest Restaurant while celebrating our anniversary in Santa Cruz. Although the restaurant was busy, we were accommodated upstairs. Our waitress, Olivia, provided excellent service, and there was a hilarious band playing that added to the ambiance. The food was both delicious and affordable. We can't wait to return to Santa Cruz for another visit!

I arrived at 2:30 PM on a Friday and was seated immediately. The outdoor terrace is charming, offering a lovely view of the sea and pier. We ordered a few dishes: the roasted calamari appetizer was crisp and slightly broken, and the delicate calamari was roasted to perfection—definitely the best I've ever had! Thank you, Crow's Nest! We also had shellfish, grilled Angus steak, and grilled yellowtail. All of this came to under $130, including a tip and one glass of wine. I will definitely return when I'm in Santa Cruz, and the calamari alone is a great reason to do so!

My former boss sold her real estate company in 2016 and relocated to Dallas, Texas with her new husband. She frequently gathers for breakfast with her former staff and friends in Santa Cruz, a place she adores. Our group consisted of about 20 people, and we experienced outstanding service and efficiency at the restaurant. The Crow's Nest is perfect for such occasions, thanks to its beautiful location by the Yacht Harbor, convenient parking, and long-standing reputation as an iconic beach restaurant. We all had a fantastic time together and truly enjoyed the food and service.

Great food and service! I had the lake bass and it was well presented and super delicious. The waiter we had was really friendly and attentive. The views of the port were great where we sat and of what I saw the other customers were all enjoying.m itself. Definitely a place to check if you like seafood and good atmosphere.

Great server Logan! Made sure everything was timely, had wonderful recommendations, joked with us a little, really nice views of the beach!! Food was fresh and tasty! Great busser also had plenty of bread and checked our drinks and water glasses just enough. Always a local favorite
