Gabriella Cafe - Santa Cruz

We hadn't been to this restaurant in awhile and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of vegetarian options. I like to create a 4 5 course meal to share. It was so easy to do so at this wonderful restaurant. We had a perfect table outside in their courtyard and the service was so attentive. The waitress worked with me by allowing me to order a course, let us get to enjoy eating it, then order another. No rush, no pressure. And a wonderful experience! This is now one of my top choices in Santa Cruz.

Best brussel sprouts in town! We also enjoyed the butternut ravioli.

I have always enjoyed Gabriella, Besides being a fount of casual fine dining, they are the restaurant that completely turned around my childhood dislike of Brussels sprouts. Since then I've enjoyed Brussels sprouts in many places, but Gabriella's are still the best. Last time here my wife and I shared the Brussels sprouts for $12 and a wonderful butternut squash ravioli at $25. It was pricey but there was plenty to share.
