Írjon visszajelzéstWings has consistently stood out as a go-to spot for chicken wings in an area with limited options. Located in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz's nightlife, it remains a favorite for wing lovers. While not suited for those seeking extreme heat, it offers crispy wings at a reasonable price. The Sriracha appetizer is absolutely delicious, and the portion size makes it well worth the cost. Tawne and Scott provided exceptional service during my visit. This restaurant has always been a must-visit for fun and wings. Ratings: Crisp: 4.3, Heat: 3.6, Taste: 4.4, Portion: 4.5, Call: 4.4, Overall: 4.24.
Big staff, billiard tables and darts and pingpong, a little divebar Wing last week to a small comedy show here.
The staff is fantastic, and the food is delicious, complemented by a nice selection of beers on tap. There are nine billiard tables available, and they don't charge by the hour. Plus, they host ping pong tournaments on Thursday nights. As far as I know, it’s the only bar in Santa Cruz that has a ping pong table. Expect a lively crowd on Friday and Saturday nights, with a great mix of patrons.
Surf City is a special place. With all the small businesses that close during the pandemic cool places to take a drink and a bite become more rare. Surf City has a variety of entertainments with a table tennis table, a photo stand, flipper machines and over ten billiard tables, not to mention a vinyl collection of killer recordings, playing all night. The staff of the neighborhood is friendly and attentive. The bar is filled with a wealth of unique beers, lemons and frozen spirits and liqueurs. The food is the hidden jewel. From lemon pepper chicken wings to soft-shell crumb sandwiches to the best Jucy Lucy I had, the mouthwater food will feel you at home. The food is cooked by an ultra paralyzed cook that clearly puts love in her food. Places with soul are becoming increasingly harder to find and Surf City brings people together. Take the negative comments with a grain of salt. Some people's expectations are hard to meet, and sometimes never will be met. Look at Surf City! You'll be glad you did it.
This is my favorite bar to go to in Santa Cruz hands down!! The ambiance, the pool, the drinks, EVERYTHING. The manager Tawni is the MOST kind, welcoming, sweet, hardworking human and she is seriously the cherry on the top of this place! I see the effort she puts into billards and it shines through everyday! Absolutely love this place
