Chocolate Maven - Santa Fe

Their chocolate chai is VERY rich. Whether that's a good or bad thing is up to the drinker. They had a croissant-like pastry with green chiles that was delicious--it does have a good kick to it so be prepared for it! Also picked up some kettle chips, they are a bit oversalted. Made a stop here on our way out of town and I would probably return for breakfast/brunch sometime.

Don't be fooled by the corrugated steel exterior. This restaurant will dazzle you with 5 star service, a broad menu, and gourmet fresh, attractively presented dishes backed by their own in house bakery. I had the Galisteo Chicken Sandwich a generously sized thick breast of chicken served on an equally generously sized hot out of the oven home made roll served with a side of fresh thick cut home made potato chips. I will definitely be a regular customer!

Delicious food and absolutely amazing cakes! I’m always left satisfied!

I never had the pleasure of meeting this Maven lady, but the chocolate was of expert-level quality, with a purity of 98% or more!

The best German chocolate cake I've ever had! This bakery is fantastic! From now on, I’ll be ordering all my cakes from here!
