Red Sage - Santa Fe

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant, where the food was of low quality but came with high prices. We made reservations but still had to wait nearly 40 minutes to be seated. The menu offered a choice of three appetizers, but that didn’t make up for the delays. It took a long time for our meals to arrive, and when they did, they were barely warm. I requested extra vegetables instead of rice, but they informed me that substitutions weren’t allowed. The steak I ordered was cooked with hardly any pink — and at almost $50, it was of worse quality than what you might find at Applebee's. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant; it simply isn't worth the trip.

The service and kitchen coordination were quite serious. After nearly two hours and numerous apologies, our experience was far from enjoyable.

This visit was a far cry from our previous experience, where we enjoyed excellent service and delicious food. Unfortunately, my partner's ribeye steak was served cold, and despite their attempts to warm it up, it remained chilly. For a restaurant of this caliber, especially for one of the more expensive menu items, this was completely unacceptable. While the rest of the food was good, the service left much to be desired. Although the restaurant was busy, there were other servers attending to other tables. We appreciated that we weren't charged for the ribeye since it was ultimately sent back, but it would have been a better gesture to offer a complimentary item, like drinks or another dish. We addressed our concerns with the server rather than blaming the restaurant itself. We were also quite disappointed that the halibut had been removed from the menu, as that was a dish my partner and our friend were really looking forward to. Given this experience and the poor service, we will likely not return.

Beauty set, good service, good food. Oils could blow again

Menu was limited and unusual leading to the selling out of the only entre clearly everyone wanted. Non apologetic and charged same price for inferior food. This resturaunt has been slipping for some time but has hit new low.
