Jollibee - Santa Mesa Heights

Honestly, Jollibee is my favorite fast food chain in the Philippines. Sadly, a cashier really struck my attention and i'm here writing a, unfortunately, bad review. Service is outstanding. Ambiance is and always will be jolly. I just really "admire" what this cashier had to say to my face. Around 6:20 AM, I was finished ordering and I handed my HappyPlus card and two senior citizen IDs because my parents were there with me (dad- 80, mom- 75). This cashier asked me, "Ma'am, na saan po si sila?" I pointed to the table at my back and said, "Nandoon Ate." Apparently, she only saw my dad so she repeated this question twice. I got really offended because i am definitely NOT one of those people who use that priviledge card even if the owner isn't around or isn't with me. I angrily replied, "Ate, nandoon sila sa likod ko. Tinuro ka na. Huwag mo naman isipin na kukunin ko yung 20% discount para sa akin lang. Nakaka-offend talaga, Miss." She replied, "Sorry ma'am pero yung kasi bilin ng manager namin." Since i already am hot headed, i replied, "Sinabihan kayo ng manager na magduda sa mga customer ninyo?" I storm off to my table and wait for my order. I was really surprised by this and i didn't expect that to happen. Maybe i was having a bad day, maybe the cashier was. Either way, she didn't have to offend or accidentally address the threat to me.

The Spaghetti, Palabok, and Chicken Joy, Tuna, and Peach Mango Pies are the best to get in Jollibee. Considering it's a fast food restaurant, the Pancit Palabok here wasn't that bad. The serving was a bit "bitin" / diminutive but the sauce is perfectly seasoned with just the right amout of shrimp flavour. The fried chicken or more popularly known as 'Chickenjoy' has a perfectly-cooked, juicy, tender meat. The best part of course, was the crispy, golden brown, flavorful Chiken Skin. The Peach Mango Pie is also one of my all-time Jollibee favourites; That crunchy outer shell filled with ooey, gooey, sweet mango and peach filling.. ah, divine! The best chicken ive tasted! The juicyness and the crispiness of the chicken will make you crave for more! Specially the tastiest spaghetti that catches the filipino taste..
