Despite being just steps away from Santa Monica's most touristy spot, this place is mainly frequented by locals. It offers the best fish and chips in the city, which you can enjoy right at the bar and are served in the traditional wrapping paper.

This restaurant is fantastic and a must-visit when you're in the area. You can enjoy sitting outside with a beer, watching the passersby, enjoying a large burger with cheese, grilled onions, and fries on the side. We rode our bikes from Venice and parked them on the side while having a great time. They only serve beer and wine, but that is perfect for beach life. The music is mostly Oldies Rock and Roll, creating a fun atmosphere. Unsure about the parking situation, as we rode our bikes. Cheers!

We found this restaurant to have excellent service, delicious food, and a wonderful beach vibe! There were plenty of sports to watch on a Monday evening, including football, and we thoroughly enjoyed the burgers, quesadillas, and drinks. During our visit to Canada, we searched on Google for the top beachfront restaurants in Santa Monica, and this one definitely lived up to our expectations!

We had an amazing meal at Big Dean's Ocean Front Cafe! The service was efficient and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. The food was delicious. Our server, Kellner Junior, provided us with excellent local recommendations. You won't be disappointed!
