Bruno's - Santa Monica

This is a fantastic family-friendly restaurant. If you're looking for a high-end atmosphere, this isn't the place for you. The food portions are generous, the service is outstanding, and the food is excellent. I ordered the meatball appetizer, which came with two large meatballs, sauce, and bread, followed by the spaghetti with meat sauce for my main course. My wife had a Caesar salad without anchovies and the eggplant parmesan, and everything was outstanding! The salad was particularly fresh, and the bread was delicious. We also enjoyed the ducks. I often have issues with meatballs, but these were fantastic. Don't be put off by the casual appearance; this is a wonderful spot for a meal. Our total bill was $65 before tip.

We absolutely love Bruno's! Located in Santa Monica, it's just a short walk away from fun activities after dinner, like the Santa Monica Pier or a relaxing drink. Be prepared—parking can be a hassle. The food is fantastic; my favorites are the lasagna and the pizza. Everything is fresh, and the red sauce they use is incredible. This time, we got takeout, and it was ready by the time we arrived, still warm when we got home. It's such a charming place, and we can’t wait to go back and enjoy another meal there. We ordered a large pizza, half pepperoni and half cheese, along with a small Caesar salad (no anchovies) and a side of garlic bread. I had forgotten that they typically include bread with the order, but that was okay—it was still tasty. I had a glass of wine, my partner had a beer, and the kids enjoyed a Sprite and lemonade. The total was $77 before tip. Everything was served warm and delicious, and the food arrived quickly since we got there before 6 PM, when it wasn't too busy. By the time we left an hour later, it had gotten crowded, which is to be expected in summer. I’m so happy to have a local pizza place nearby. The pizza is crispy, delicious, and incredibly satisfying. They also serve very tasty cannolis, but I haven't tried anything else because I always end up regretting it and wish I had ordered the pizza. It’s just that good! It’s a family-run business, so don’t forget to tip well and be friendly!

Just randomly stopped for dinner and glad we did. This place was really good and had very friendly service. We had pizza, salad and garlic toast for dinner. The prices were not bad either!

I tried this place for the first time at the recommendation of my friends and I adored everything. The staff were incredibly kind and funny, and they recommended the Spaghetti Carbona I ended up ordering and it was delicious. I cleaned my plate. The pizza was freshly made and was perfectly sized for the group. The meal was a bit on the pricier side but it was worth it and an amazing dinner with friends.
