Chen Aifang - Santarém

Este restaurante chinês fica no Centro Comercial W. A sala não é grande, mas é acolhedora e decorada com simplicidade, utilizando quadros com motivos chineses. As mesas têm toalhas e guardanapos de tecido. A ementa é variada e tem a fotografia, a cores, de alguns pratos que, em geral, rondam 6 / 8 euros cada (servidos em travessa) . Os pratos pedidos estavam bem confecionados. Com 2 entradas, 1 prato principal, 1 sobremesa e bebidas, um casal poderá pagar cerca de 20 euros. Este restaurante tem, ainda, um serviço ao balcão para fora da sala, utilizando a zona de refeições do centro comercial. Neste caso, um prato individual (escolha em ementa reduzida), com sobremesa e bebida/café fica por menos de 7 euros.

After a few days of tapas and sardines, we were ready for some rice and Asian cuisine. We just visited the Church of the Holy Miracle, and had walked a mile or 2 towards the W-Shopping center. We went up the second floor and found a few fast food restaurants. Chinese food! Just what we were looking for! We ordered their lunch plate combination - one chicken and one beef. We were pleasantly surprised at how good and authentic the dishes tasted. And the prices were unbelievably cheap. For those visiting Santarem and looking for Asian or Chinese cuisine, this has to be the place.
