Taperia Silvestre - Sanxenxo

Stumbled into this bar while shopping along the pier in Sanxenxo. Initially went for a drink but decided to stay for dinner and very glad we did. Staff I found to be a bit reserved but then the food arrived (mostly seafood) and what a lovely surprise. Couldn't have been fresher or prepared with such a light touch. Delicious. We ate mussels, clam, octopus and scallops. The owner, Silvestre, was pleased we enjoyed the food and became more chatty the longer we stayed. It's an ideal place for a drink and appetiser or even for dinner as we found out. You couldn't ask for fresher seafood.

A little bar right in the harbour. We had local food such as tortilla, Jamon, Piementos and like every little bit. Owner is very friendly and kids welcome as well. We will be back.
