Alentejo food. But there are other options. A very simple and well hidden place. It doesn't have a lot of crowds. Really a real quiet corner with few clientele because the Alentejo just wants to make their dishes without wanting to earn money but distract yourself with what you most like to make a good dish. Even if they have a meal, people from Alentejo go home happy, for being useful in what they do. We appreciate all the visits are few, the important thing is not agitation but the simplicity of the place even if it is humble many like Alentejano dishes, there are those who like it and those who don't. Until the reform arrives, Alentejano will make his dishes ... Quiet without wanting to compete, because that is not part of Alentejano. But the quiet life does.

A nice village and friendly people.

Lovely quiet place down a back-street in the village. I had the dish of the day, duck risotto, which was very good. The couple running the restaurant are delightful....I hope they get more customers soon though, as I was the only person eating.
