Embassy Suites By Hilton Sarasota

We had to organize a last-minute Bat Mitzvah for 85 people. In just 60 days, we were able to plan and host a fantastic party. The hotel is new, clean, and very accommodating. Every staff member we worked with at the hotel was exceptional. It was a stress-free and enjoyable experience.

Great experience...amazing heated pool on the 7th floor and convenient location near downtown Sarasota. Close to all the excitement.

1. The pool was only open from sunrise to sunset, which meant no night swimming. There was also no hot tub available. 2. There were no smart TVs, so we were limited to only 45 channels. However, 3 of those channels did not work, further limiting our options to 42 channels. 3. The pillows provided had no support, forcing me to use a couch cushion to get a decent night's sleep. 4. In addition to the already high room rates, there was a $30 per day parking fee with no EV charging station nearby. There was also a $25 per day destination charge, which included amenities like e-bike usage and "free fast wifi" - except the wifi was slow and definitely not free if I had to pay $25 per day for it. 5. When I attempted to resolve an overcharge issue with a young male manager, his attitude was less than helpful and he eventually dismissed my concerns. Overall, I will not be returning to this establishment. I would much rather spend extra money to stay at the Westin across the street, as they offer better views and presumably better service.

Attracive, newer building with cordial staff at the front desk and restaurant. Management is not keeping the building clean. Trash was in the stairwells. The corridor carpeting on floor 11 was very soiled and had not been vacuumed for months! The evening reception food was sparse and they did not refill the bowls once they were empty! There was no hand sanitizer to be found after looking for it diligently. There was very little soap in the public restrooms. Overall not a sanitary hotel.

It was a very good stay, but the parking situation was inconvenient to get into and the check-in process was convoluted because there wasn't any real way to park your car before check-in. The rooms were nice but for a Hilton, there was some debris in drawers, peeling wall paper, some mold in bathroom. The view was very good of bay area...
