Tijuana Flats - Sarasota

I think we found our place for Mexican food! YUM! We stayed there on the way home from Sarasota looking for something quick. Not to know that it would also be delicious! We sat outside, there was a nice breeze, so it was good. But they also have seats. The place is very colorfully decorated. It's a funny ambience. Look at it if you don't already have it. You have special occasions on Tuesday and Thursday. Also for the 25th anniversary they have every day between 2-5 o'clock. You need to go inside to order and pay for your food and they will bring it to your table. Customer service was great....5 stars for that alone!

This is probably the best chicken burrito I've ever had. I ordered mine without rice and with either black beans. Then I mixed their sweetest sauce with the hottest sauce they offer, and wow! It was incredible!

I would have given this restaurant 5 stars, but they forgot the sour cream on my chicken enchiladas. The standout item here is definitely the chips and queso—her cheese sauce has a flavor reminiscent of Nacho Cheese Doritos, and you can load as much cheese as you want on the chips, which is fantastic. The restaurant has a fast food vibe, and the music is a bit loud, catering to millennials with a mix of alternative rock and occasional rap songs. Overall, it's worth a visit!

Delicious food and warm service. The atmosphere feels very family-friendly. Although the dining area is small, it's cozy and inviting. I truly enjoyed the shrimp bowl and fish tacos!
