Írjon visszajelzéstSeneca is a great ?new American? restaurant. The food is delicious and innovative with dishes like fried chicken deviled eggs and little neck clams with chorizo. The hanger steak was also cooked to perfection. This restaurant would be at home in NYC orChicago. It?s pretty clear that Seneca is holding itself out as a fine dining establishment and is succeeding. The one thingthat rubs me the wrong way and why I won?t come back to this excellent restaurant is that they see fit to charge $11 for theirbeer and $13 for their most expensive beer. I live in downtown Chicago and even at some of the nicest restaurants $11 for a beeris absurd. Cocktails at Seneca are only $14-$15 which is standard pricing for cocktails so it?s strange to only differentiatethe beer and cocktail prices by $3. When you get to the drink menu at a nice restaurant you can usually find a break in pricesbut Seneca doesn?t see it that away. That?s why even though I had an excellent dining experience I can only give them 4 starsand why I likely won?t be returning in the future.
Anna was incredible. Our first experience was perfect. The service was 10/10 the food was melt in your mouth perfect. Probably the best burger I?ve ever had. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and invites you to stay as long as you want. Theopen gym gives a wonderful inside feel of the chefs giving love to each plate that?s prepared. Highly recommended. Updating toshow more delicious food from their fall menu. This restaurant deserves your attention.
Excellent restaurant, service is top shelf, food is excellent. We enjoyed lobster roll sliders on bao buns as an app and I had the wagyu burger. Very good and good value for money.
Overall a decent meal but there were some hits and misses. Came in with spouse and kids for dinner on a Friday. It was somewhat busy but there were a few open tables. Ordered Parker house rolls, crab cakes, pierogies and a plate of fries. The apps were the highlight of the meal for sure. Parker house rolls are always a treat and this hot humid weather ensures they were nice and fluffy. Drinks service was a miss, took forever to get two bar drinks out and we were almost done with the apps before we got them. Bartender was slow, not our server. Entrees were just ok. Jerk chicken was dry and over cooked smothered in a white sauce and looked like something from Applebees. Burger was decent, pretty blackened which some people like. Hanger steak was excellent. Swordfish was a big miss, fish was good but the couscous was mush and the romaneso was COLD, ice cold. Not nice getting a hot piece of fish on top of an ice cold sauce. Service was good. Overall the apps are the star and maybe stick with the red meat. Not running back anytime soon.
Was happy enough, a reservation after the traver’s in saratoga, and was skeptical the outside seat reservation, but now only becomes.
