We stopped after a motorcycle ride. I mean pizza, and I have to say I liked it a lot.

I'm almost afraid to tell you all how this is likely the best pizza anywhere. I don't want to have to compete with the crowds that would result from letting the secret out. I've had great pizza at dozens of places around Napoli, Rome, and Tuscany. Perhaps it is their crust made with ancient grains. Perhaps it is the incredible salsiccia piccante (pepperoni) that is hand cut from small individual sausages. I know I love that they add a bit more cheese than you typically find, without making the thin crust soggy. I'm sure the huge wood fired oven is a big factor. It seems like a crime that this amazing pizza tends to be 7 euros each. On second thought, please ignore my review. Great pizzeria restaurant in the heart of Sarteano. Exquisite burgers, many types of pizza, from the most traditional to the particular ones, but all with high quality ingredients.
