Írjon visszajelzéstDuring my two-day trip to this area last month, I decided to visit this restaurant, and I'm so glad I did! It truly offers an authentic taste of Vietnam with fantastic food. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone in the area!
This restaurant is a decent spot to visit before the dinner rush. It’s clean and offers a good atmosphere for conversation. The food is on par with other places I've tried. I would have preferred my meal to be served hotter, as it was only lukewarm, but I was neither disappointed nor particularly impressed by the flavors. Overall, it’s better than many other places I've been to, and the seats are comfortable.
I find myself drawn to their combination meals, which provide excellent value for both the quantity and quality of the food. The dry ribs boast a fantastic breading, while the deep-fried tail-less shrimp are indulgently delicious. Even the Chow Mein stands out, packed with fresh vegetables and noodles. Not long ago, Spicy Garden was just a small spot on 8th Street next to the old Safeway. I hesitated to eat there because it was cramped and only had about six tables, making it hard to find a seat. They've since relocated further down the street to a much nicer restaurant with plenty of tables and booths. The food we ordered arrived piping hot and fresh—even better than takeout! While the menu may not be the most adventurous or trendy, it excels in delivering quality dishes that truly satisfy.
I've been here over a dozen times in the past year and always had a great experience. Sometimes the service seems a bit slower than other restaurants but it was never a problem for us. Overall the staff are friendly and polite, and the food is fresh. They have several really good dishes but I gave a 4.5 for their garlic chicken wings, wonton soup, and dumplings. Possibly the best of their kind in Saskatoon. The scrambled eggs and shrimp are also perfectly cooked and tasty.
Originally went to the restaurant several years ago at the old location and gave it a 2.5. I tried it again last night and had a much better experience. The new locale is nice. We started with the charbroiled pork fresh rolls (superb) and an egg roll. I had the coconut curry soup with seafood, which was delicious. My partner had the coconut curry beef, which he enjoyed, but still prefers Red Pepper for the dish. We finished with a green tea bubble tea, refreshing and delightful end to the meal.
