Yip Hong's - Saskatoon

Polite and friendly service. The food came quickly and was hot and delicious. Nice serving sizes, we all went away full. We will be back! Highly recommend to anyone!

Sitting in the restaurant now. The food we have received tasted fine, but one dish is receved at a time and the first dish is completely cold before the next one is received. They seem much more concerned about the take out orders than the dine in tables. The wait staion is a mess and the dirty mop pail is in the open on the way to the washroom.

Cheap: the portions were very small, not worth the $60 I paid. There was mostly cauliflower and celery in the mixed vegetables with 5 slivers of carrots, 6 broccoli and some waterchestnuts. The ribs were the size of of the first joint on my little finger, honestly what kind of ribs were they? Rodent ribs? Overpriced: All of this costed me $60 I could have had a 5 star meal at Dakota dunes for that price. NEVER GIVING MY MONEY TO YIP HONG 'S AGAIN!!!!! Disgusting: The beans were almost burned and tasted like they were cooked in mop water. The mixed vegetables had almost no flavor. I cannot believe they had the gall to charge me $60 for this ****. I ended up throwing most of it out. The steamed rice was steamed rice and tasted normal, the dim sum wasn 't great but it was edible. Definitely feeling ripped off, cheated, robbed.

Some foods were good steamed and baked pork buns, steamed sponge care, taro balls, other items not so good pan fried turnip cakes, pan fried vegetable rolls (taste was good, but way too greasy). shrimp dumplings weren't the best, shrimp was tough.

This used to be one of the go to places in Saskatoon but the last number of visits have been average for dim sum as well as take out.
