After the long wait and the disappointing news about the cocktails, we placed orders for food instead. We had to get up and visit the bar to check on our orders due to the extended wait time. Eventually, one of our guests received her steak, but it was as tough as rubber. Meanwhile, we were still waiting for the children’s meals and the rest of our orders. The food arrived at staggered times, and by 4:00 PM, we had been struggling through this experience since 1:00 PM. I was still waiting for my seafood pasta. I called the owner, who apologized and said he was on his way, but he never showed. I ended up speaking with the shift manager, who shifted the blame to the overwhelmed waiter. Their explanation was that they were short-staffed, but as a manager, you should engage with customers, communicate delays, and ensure good service. Instead, the manager did not take responsibility, walked away after I shared my frustrations, and failed to assist the lone waiter who was trying his best amidst the chaos. To this day, I'm still awaiting a response regarding my missing order, which was never found in the kitchen. Regardless of staffing issues, a good manager should take accountability, resolve problems, and not humiliate their staff in front of customers. Kudos to the waiter who handled the situation remarkably well; he demonstrated true potential for management in the future. What a frustrating experience at Redwood's.

The service was disappointing. We had a reservation, but no waiter attended to us for an entire hour. When we asked the front desk for assistance from a manager, the girl rolled her eyes.

Redwoods has been a favorite for a long time, and it's easy to see why. The food and drinks are reasonably priced, and the service is excellent. I ordered a vegetarian pizza that was so generously sized and topped that I couldn’t finish it. I highly recommend trying the Cherry Bomb cocktail, which is packed with cherries, as well as the Brain Freeze cocktail. There’s plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors, and you can catch your favorite sports games at the bar.
