Legal Swine Bbq - SAUGERTIES

As someone who is new to the area, I often struggle to find good dining options. I decided to give Legal Swine a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the brisket, mac and cheese, and slaw, and everything was fantastic! The slaw was super fresh and not overly drenched in mayo like at many other places. The brisket was smoky and tender, and the portion was generous—I have plenty left over! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was nice and clean. I will definitely be back!

The meats—breast, pork, and pastrami—are all excellent. The sides, including mac and cheese, cornbread, corn, Brussels sprouts, and boiled hush puppies, were decent. Stick with the meats, and you won’t be disappointed.

We also ordered two sides, mac and cheese and coleslaw. The mac and cheese was good but not exceptional, while the coleslaw didn’t appeal to me, although my father thought it was fantastic. It's made without mayo, so if that’s your preference, you’ll enjoy it! The restaurant has a cozy and beautifully decorated ambiance, with an open kitchen that allows you to see and smell the food being prepared. Our meals arrived promptly, and the service was very friendly. We will definitely be coming back! P.S. One small complaint: there are no restrooms available.

Burnt ends, wings, redneck egg rolls, pulled pork, ribs.....all sooooo good!!! Highly recommend
