Írjon visszajelzéstMyself, husband and 2 adult children arrived at Thermalia on Friday evening around 8.15. We have visited there before and the the experience has been barely OK, but it is convenient to where we stay. However, I have never met with such rudeness from a...service establishment! The restaurant was quite busy, however there were tables left both inside and out. I hopefully asked in albeit imperfect French) for a table for four and was met with nothing more than a shrug and a grunt! Somewhat stunned we waited, almost in disbelief, as the owner passed us again, we were treated to a rude NON! no explanation, apology or acknowledgement of our greeting! We left shell shocked but then went on to have a perfectly lovely evening at Le Riberou, where our host was attentive and amusing and the food was excellent value. Why have I wasted good money at Thermalia in the past!!!!!! Never again will I darken their door.
I've eaten in this restaurant many times over the past 10 years or so and its a must stop place if you like good honest French cuisine. Being very close to the sea the fish dishes are excellent, look out particularly for the Soupe de...Poissons and the Mouclade which is a dish of Mussels in a light curried sauce, they also serve traditional meat dishes all of which I have found to be excellent. In fact I've never had a bad meal in this place and will detour to eat here if I'm in the region. Thoroughly recommended.
This family-run hotel continues to provide very good food to the boss (owners guide the kitchen, his lovely wife guides the restaurant in front of the house, while his brother concentrates on the bar / PMU. We spent another 11 days Great Food, Great Wine and... very pleasant company. We're going to board, now we're just spending morning on the Grande Plage. After a cozy lunch (3 set menus that change most days and the cart is spoiled for choice. For those who have nightlife royen is just 8k away where the music never stop fun.... This chief staff is focused and the food produced is superior, many Logis where we stayed .. We would go more frequently, but are not able to pay family allowances. We cannot wait to go again!!!
We stayed at this hotel for a number of years (about 20) and it always delivers. The owners are the boss and the Maitre de 'e, the 3 set menus plus A la Carte and Plat Du Jour offer a selection that never disappointed. In...season it is best to book in advance. The main dining room in the season is usually for hotel dwellers, but there is a small low season, plus bar and terrace tables.
The patron is the boss, and his wife runs in front of the house; it offers 3 different price menus and a 'la Carte. On request you can order Lobster and Crab (the latter was awarded as usual). We go full board now, we enjoy both lunch and dinner. In the season, I would recommend the pre-book to non-residents; therefore, I would not be disappointed. The menu is varied for every taste, we love the friendly atmosphere! Our daughter and her young family really enjoyed staying here and eating.
