Hilltop - Sault Ste. Marie

Loves the old school. Dig also the jukebox. Do not find many places where it is only a quarter to play a melody. Bartender was very friendly. Never let go of the cook. We ordered food and then ordered the frickles home. Had a great time. We'll be back. Thank you.

They make a great burger and pommes. The pizza is also very good. The staff is always polite. A must stop when you're hungry, and on the island.

Ahhhhh the Hilltop ... my home away from home for many many years. This is a must go to. Sugar Island is a beautiful place! Take a tour of it the Island and on your way back to the ferry take a break and have some lunch or dinner at the Hilltop. They have Great food, good prices, cold beer, and a friendly staff. Not much of a view anymore as the trees keep growing and took that away, but there's outside seating where you can drink and enjoy the sunshine horseshoe pits if that's your game. Oh and as you wait for the Ferry trip over to the Island, there's Clydes drive In. Great food, malts, shakes, while you wait! Ferry prices are $12.00 round trip for car and driver, I believe $2.00 per passenger. You might want to google call for sure though. Recommended trip though!
