Joinery - Sausalito

I decided to visit this restaurant sooner rather than later, and it was definitely the right choice. The open seating, both indoors and outdoors, is beautiful. You order first and then find your own seat. Everything we tried was incredibly fresh, well-balanced in flavor, and I appreciated that they use local ingredients! Sitting outside while listening to the sea lions creates such a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were also very friendly. I can't wait to return and sample more of their delicious offerings!

We were really happy while we waited in line. Although it was longer than expected to get our food, it was worth it. The photo shows two meals that we shared: a chicken sandwich and a half chicken plate. We loved everything! The prices were reasonable, and the food was absolutely delicious. The bathroom was clean, and the restaurant was well-maintained.

This lovely restaurant by the water offers a beautiful setting. The "Dirty Fries" are a must-try, and they have gluten-free rolls available! Despite it being a busy Saturday brunch time, the ordering process was efficient, and our meals were served impressively quickly. I definitely plan to return!

What is not to love. The location on the water, the amazing, thoughtful and delicious menu, great coffee. I'm a student and I found this place to do some of my studies. My only complaint is that there are no sockets for plugging (too bad because I would eat and drink longer here if I could), and the hours when they were opened earlier and later. But I understand that these two things are probably intentional.

We visited The Joinery on a Saturday afternoon in January after 2 pm. It was still hopping, even well after the normal lunch rush would have slowed. I will say it's pricy, especially for a restaurant without table service, but everything we had was delicious. We were starving, so we ordered everything that sounded good and ended up with way too much food, but I have no regrets. I got the heirloom apple salad with chicken and the brussels sprouts and my husband got carnitas tacos and dirty fries. I'm still thinking about those brussels sprouts. We also ordered a beer and a glass of wine, which were also tasty. The restaurant is right on the water with indoor and outdoor seating. There were no outdoor seats available when we ate, so we opted for seats at the back of the restaurant. The back of the restaurant is open to the outside, so even sitting inside we had a gorgeous view of the bay. The Joinery is a bit of a walk from the main shopping and restaurant area, but totally worth the walk.
