Venice Gourmet Delicatessen Pizzeria

A great delicious sandwich with view! I ordered the avocado, cheese and sprouts sandwich turkey not disappointed. The servers are beautiful and move FAST. Tap them well in cash. I will recommend this place to my friends who visit the Bay Area!!

My first visit was also my first time to the Bay area in 1997, and I was captured! I met the father who was SO engaging. He introduced me to one of his sons and I was hooked. The fact that I love Market's like this anyway, just added to my love of this place. I have since been to SF about 7 times and each time I make a point to come here! The Food, the service, the people, the area. Venice Gourmet certainly is a TREASURE!! Keep doing good. My wife and I brought our two daughters there and my youngest was captured also!! Good prices and my sandwich was so fresh and delicious! Avocado is always hit or miss, but this sandwich had extremely fresh and generous avocado. Plus there is a very cute spot to sit across the street so you can enjoy water views.

Food is always great here. The staff is super nice and attentive. Eating so close to the water is also a plus. One of my favorite spots to grab a quick bite.

Stopped off here as an outdoor seat had just become available....but later they brought tables out from the restaurant for folk who wanted to be outside. V accommodating! Salads were great and the pizza was nice and light. We also had a few bottles of pretty strong Rosè wine which was very reasonably priced. Deserts weren't amazing looked like they were mass produced/bought in. Tasty none the less. Staff nice too.
