Byrd's Famous Cookies River Street

We thought this was a birthday present. Olivia went out of her way to welcome us and help us choose the best gift. In addition, cookies are amazingly delicious.

Such a cute and vintage cookie shop! We were greeted as soon as we walked in. They have tons of souvenirs and a wide variety of cookie flavors. There’s a sampling counter in the back where you can try all the flavors you want to before buying! The staff were extremely welcoming and encouraged us to try all the flavors we wanted. We ended up buying four bags of cookies because they were so good!

Soooo good. We filled our own box so we could try several flavors. Salted caramel was our favorite, although we didn’t find one we didn’t like!

One cannot stroll down River Street without dropping in to sample some of these amazing cookies. While vacationing in Savannah, I made sure a visit to Byrd's was checked off my to-do list. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. There was no shortage in cookies to sample. I brought back the Georgia Peach and Triple Chocolate, and while both received rave reviews, my colleagues at the office could not stop eating or talking about the former. Many stated how they did not like peaches, but loved the Georgia Peach cookies. They are bite-sized and perfect in every way!
