I would always order that back and forth again. the fried chicken was worth the hype and the cheddar gowns were perfect. the Praline basket was a delicious and light finish to eat. the service was a bit slow and they were from the cocktail I wanted, but otherwise was a great experience in a beautiful historical house.
Our experience in the pink house was amazing. the fried green tomaten, huh fried steak, and her **** soup tasted incredible. felt like a very suitable south meal in savannah. our server was very friendly and accommodating and gave us some great recommendations. they encouraged us to explore the building after eating and we are very glad that we did. the building itself has a dozen dining rooms with everyone who is unique and beautiful. the tavern in the cellar is the most interesting.
That was our favorite meal in savannah! the outside is absolutely beautiful with the green, arbor and efeu! and the interior is even more breathtaking with beautiful rooms and a wonderful menu! we have the garnel and the grotten. it has been chosen for the last 6 years in succession the best garnel and grütze in ga and there is a reason for it. the landscash heavy over the Cheddar grit cake with the fresh local garnels was exceptional! my man got the pork talloin and he enjoyed it! I had the jumbo sea scallops and added garnel to it! delicious! our girls had the butter noodles with gurkens. the cook was very accommodating to add cut gurkens to their meals! we celebrated our sweet girl, who became 4 and they brought our chocolate cake with “lucky birthday” in chocolate with a special candle that she bleeded out. her face glowed up and it was a moment I will never forget! my man got the pecan pee with a black coffee and said from the beginning that this was one of his favorites he had ever had! we can't wait to go back!
Beautiful historic building. for us was the relaxed atmosphere of tavern down our speed. we said it would be an hour to wait, but it ended only 5 minutes. we sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive, not the best mosque maultier I've ever had, but the best maize bread fryers we've ever had. so good in the did that we ended to order another portion. I'd go back, just for her. this building is a must to see if they eat there or just throw a look in the afternoon before they open up how we did it.
If you are coming to Savannah you must come here. This is one of the oldest restaurants there. Coming in is like stepping back in time. The decor is true to the heritage of the restaurant. The menu is perfect. Great combination of sea and land food. Flavors did not disappoint. The waiter we had was phenomenal and helped guide us on our food expedition here. Do not forget to get the dessert.
