Sushi San - Sayulita

I am editing my review. 4 stars 5 stars This place deserves 5 stars. The fish is excellent, the chef is excellent. The only frozen product it seems they carry is the crab. I had a gripe with the staff being tense the last night but tonight was a different story and so I will edit my review accordingly. What a wonderful experience and thank you all for full belly. The food is good but nothing extraordinary. Tiny portions for its price. It's like a sandwich if you're not very hungry, but not recommended to eat there. Price per person: MX$100–200 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

We saw this place when we first arrived in Sayulita for my fiancé 's birthday trip. His birthday was one of the last days so we decided to save this restaurant for his birthday dinner since it was one of the more upscale ones. The rest of the trip was full of delicious street food. First of all, the place is small, has AC and feels so intimate. It 's perfect for a date night or a special ocasión of if you just want some good sushi. Everything was made to order and tasted so good and fresh. We ordered a few rolls and they were honestly so filling. They also had Asahi beer which is a must. The prices were similar to most US sushi spots so expect to spend more than at other results in the area, but then again it is a different type of cuisine in such a small town.
