Just my opinion. Anyway, the inside of the restaurant is quite small but adds to the ambience of the place. A very romantic ambience too with very friendly and attentive staff. The outside too has a few tables which look like they belong to the cafe close by which it probably does as our waiter seemed to work in both places during the day, so probably the whole thing is a family owned business. It is also a pizzaria but we went for the traditional pasta. Hubby had the carbonara which he says was excellent and I had a mushroom pasta with fried prawn and I think cauliflour balls. Scrumptious. We were given a complimentary meatball covered in tomato and bechimel sauce, again very nice and unexpected. Finally the tiramisu. To die for. See all photos attached. Prices were as expected for this area but dont forget the cover charge which in this case was €3 each. Definitely recommended.
Staff are great, food is amazing, location stunning. I would highly recommend. Spoke to a number of other customers who were impressed. Chicken was great, but the tiramisu couldn’t be beaten. Chef also gave me a little starter which was so tasty would have turned up just for that.
Don't waste time reading the reviews, just go to dei Cavalieri. You will not be disappointed. Food 11 Ambience 10 Service 10 Value 10
We went to get a pizza. I liked the chestnut tart, superlative!
Nice small-scale restaurant. Very friendly service. Delicious wine and no half-full glasses. Dinner was delicious. If you've gone to or near scala, you've definitely been eating here.
