Bad Dog Deli - Scarborough

I dined at Dog Deli about a year ago, and I had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, with a unique and varied menu, and the owner was incredibly friendly. I tried a delicious special burger that was so satisfying and packed that I had to save some for later. It's a fantastic spot if you're looking to support local businesses.

I came down from Bangor for a vet appointment and ended up at this restaurant, which had great outdoor seating and delicious food! I was a bit unsure at first since it was right next to Route 1, but it quickly exceeded my expectations. The outdoor picnic benches were perfect for relaxing while enjoying quick takeout. The service was excellent and very efficient. I ordered a jalapeno and garlic cheesesteak, and it was fantastic!

The food here is outstanding! I tried the blueberry pancakes, and they easily outshine any I've had at other places in town. They're packed with large blueberries, and the pancakes remind me of the ones my mother used to make when I was a child! Everything on the menu is fantastic, and the owner, John, is always present.

This place is great! Food has always been good every time my family and I come here!! John always has a great attitude and personality! This is a “must go” when we are in the area!

My family and I are regulars here. The food is awesome and the beer selection is hard to beat. They reopened last week. I highly recommend checking it out!
