St. Joe's Cafe - Scarborough

I've been twice and both times people were on the line. Wide range of sandwiches and ways to have coffee. Crazy combination of sandwiches that somehow work. Unexpected mixtures such as biscuits with mushrooms and goat cheese or a sandwich of waffle and sausage. Latte of any kind and outdoor seats on picnic tables with parasols. A little down... no garbage container for the paper cups and packaging.

Great spot for a quick and delicious bite. Recommended by our Airbnb host and did not disappoint. Homemade biscuits and a variety of coffee options highly recommend checking them out!

Amazing breakfast sandwiches!! Delicious coffee! I wish I lived closer but my husband and I are trying to think of excuses to head back up to Portland

Awesome food. Niceties absent. Everyone working there had the joy of life drained from their faces. Very awkward. Keep up the good work. Next day update: went back again for another biscuit. The food was still awesome and employees were still visibly miserable. Avoid making small talk with them as they will do the same for you. I would still go back though.

WOW! I’m so glad I discovered this place. I just moved to Scarborough-Downs, and so far, every restaurant I’ve tried has exceeded my expectations. The breakfast sandwich I had, along with the locally roasted coffee, was fantastic—perfectly made! The service was quick and efficient. I can’t wait to come back soon and explore more of the menu.
