Cafe Alaia - Scarsdale

This was my first visit, and I was recommended this restaurant by a friend. I was not disappointed! It's a lovely place with delicious food and good drinks. They have a fantastic selection of dishes, and the wine list is impressive as well. We really appreciated our waiter's recommendations for wine; he was very helpful. The owner even came out to greet us and talk about the specials. We’ll definitely be returning!

I absolutely loved this restaurant! I visited on a busy Friday night and was really impressed by the atmosphere. The food options were fantastic, and the portion sizes were just right. I have to highlight the service, which was the best part of the evening—our server George was amazing. Even though he had a lot of tables to manage, he handled everything effortlessly and took great care of us. The owner also greeted us warmly and was very friendly. I give this place 5 stars. Came here for the first time with my best friend and the service was amazing. We walked in and made room for us. The food was the right way and the owner also welcomed us. Wow, what a meal. Appetizers were absolutely amazing. Servers were great, friendly, and helpful. Octopus, meatballs, and tortellini al brodo were top notch. Lamb ragu was solid, just a bit al dente for our taste. Chicken liver crostini just couldn't live up to the rest of the dishes but the whole meal was solid. Get lots of appetizer to share!
