Morrette's King Steak House

I drove from Binghamton to pick up a friend at the airport and decided to bring my whole family along to visit my hometown and enjoy dinner together. I love taking my kids to my childhood favorites, and Morrettes definitely delivered! The food was amazing! Our waitress was delightful, and the owners were incredibly friendly. We even realized we had stayed past closing time, but they were gracious about it! My kids are already excited to go back! Thank you for hosting our spontaneous reunion!

Wow! What a fantastic atmosphere! As soon as you step through the door, you’re transported to a different era. We were torn between sitting at the counter to watch the cooks in action or choosing a booth to soak in the entire experience. We decided on the booth and had a great time, especially since we needed the space for the incredible King Steak Sandwiches, onion rings, and fries... oh, and let's not forget the best shakes ever! We absolutely loved it. Thank you for preserving this iconic spot. We’ll definitely be back!

I had one of the best steak sandwiches I've ever tasted. I will definitely be coming back. The waitress was wonderful as well.

Fantastic steak sandwiches. Since I don't live in NY anymore, this place is always on my list to stop by when I'm in town visiting. The owners are keeping this Schenectady landmark alive and are doing a great job at it. Keep up the good work guys.

It's so good that I took my wife there when we were up in Schenectady just after we got married 4 years ago. She is a born and raised Florida girl. Needless to say she loved it.. The best King Steak Sandwich's in the U.S. !!
