The Appian Way - Schenectady

This is a family-run restaurant where the owners take great care in preparing traditional Italian dishes. Every item is crafted with attention to detail; for instance, the dried sausage featured in the antipasto is made in-house. The service is friendly yet unobtrusive. The veal and pasta are simply wonderful! This is my favorite Italian restaurant, hands down.

Old school Italian. The food was great. They used basil, tomatoes, beet green and salad directly from their garden. Cool experience.

1000% to go one of my favorite places. Eating is an experience you will not forget. Can't get enough about The Appian Way rave!! Loves the filled calf. Servers are top notch. They all know what they have to offer and serve it right.

We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant, enjoying a large wedding sample menu that was expertly managed by our hosts. The homemade pasta was exceptional, and the gelato was delightful. The hosts were attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely plan to return for a regular dinner.

My wife and I were delighted from start to finish. Our meals were impeccable, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt genuinely authentic.
