Írjon visszajelzéstThe restaurant we settled on was nice and had a very friendly server. There were plenty of options on the menu, and the kids were happy with their meals. I ordered a seafood special, which included lobster and mussels. However, I found it to be mostly thin pasta with a little seafood on top. Overall, the food was decent, but it felt more like a typical red sauce diner rather than fine dining, yet the prices felt a bit steep for what we received. Given the area, I expected things to be cheaper (though, as I mentioned earlier, maybe everyone's a billionaire here). While driving through, some parts of the town seemed quite run-down, but it improved as we got closer to Saratoga Springs. In my opinion, the prices felt about 20% higher than what you'd find in Manhattan while in Schenectady. Despite that, our server was excellent, so I would give the restaurant an overall rating of 3 stars.
The food was excellent! The service was also good. We got there around 8 PM on Sunday after visiting the Van Gogh exhibit. The staff was cleaning the dining room as if they were closing for the night, but there were still many tables with diners. We asked the hostess if it was too late to be seated, and she assured us it wasn't—that they were open for another hour. We ordered an appetizer and a special entrée, and both dishes were delicious.
My sister-in-law chose this restaurant to celebrate her birthday. They didn’t accept reservations for outdoor seating and advised us to arrive early, assuring us it wouldn’t be an issue. When we got there, however, we were informed that eight people couldn’t sit together outside and we’d need to split up into two tables of four. So, we opted to sit inside, where the waiter was incredibly accommodating. The cocktails, appetizers, and main courses were all outstanding. We did notice that outside, two tables had been pushed together to accommodate seven guests, which suggested that they might have had connections to secure that arrangement. After our meal, we migrated to the outdoor bar and lingered for a few hours. The bartender was fantastic!
Very nice place. The food was excellent and our server was wonderful. We were seated rather quickly, and I'll say we were lucky as the place was packed. But the food was very good.
Slooooow service. They weren't busy. I ordered fish and chips. It was a single piece of haddock that was covered in Italian bread crumbs and pan fried. Very bland, and definitely not classic fish and chips. The bill for 5 adults who each had a two drinks with no appetizers was over $400. I would never recommend this place to anyone
