Philok Thai Schmerikon - Schuebelbach

This excellent thai food restaurant is simple but very nice. Staff is always friendly and you will get a nice choice of great quality food to a reasonable fair pricing. sitting outside in the garden is nice even chairs are not too comfortable. it is located on an industry corner adjacent to a big parking area next to the public swimming hall of Schmerikon. There is also a walking trail following a small river into the lake of Zurich, a nice walk to enjoy sunset at the lake after a great outdoor dinner? We love it and we continue to take the driving distance. Can only recommend this location, if you are a larger group of people, reservation is adviced.

Es ist immer wieder schön, hier zu sein. Die Qualität des Essens und die Freundlichkeit im Service sind wirklich erstklassig. Das Ambiente versetzt einen direkt in einen Kurzurlaub. Vielen Dank, gerne wieder.

Der Service war super nett, man fühlt sich im Restaurant wohl. Leider ist das Restaurant für Vegetarier nicht so gut geeignet, da es kein Tofu gibt (in keinem Gericht) und die Auswahl sehr klein ist. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber es fehlte einfach das gewisse Etwas. Es war nicht so schön angerichtet wie man es von einem thailändischen Restaurant erwarten würde. Die Suppe als Vorspeise war winzig. Die anderen Portionen waren okay, aber für diese Preise hätten wir mehr erwartet.

Esse immer gerne hier. Im Sommer ist es draussen besonders gemütlich. Preis&Leistung stimmt. Bietet auch Takeaway an.
