I walked in to find the restaurant bustling, which is always a good sign for a long-established place. The person who took my order was friendly and engaged in great conversation while offering some excellent recommendations. I found a seat, my number was called, and soon my food arrived. The portion size was generous. I ordered the steak and shrimp with a loaded baked potato, while my wife had the chicken-fried steak accompanied by a baked potato. The steak was thin, likely due to the shrimp, but it was cooked perfectly to medium-rare. If you're looking for a larger steak, I recommend skipping the shrimp option. The chicken-fried steak was fresh and hand-pounded. While the price was a bit high, it was for a dinner for two. I'm giving this place a 4-star rating mainly because the decor feels somewhat outdated and the booths were a bit cramped. Overall, I would definitely eat here again.

Prime Cut offers delicious food at great prices on weekdays. However, there are no specials available on the weekends. Their chopped steak and shrimp are standout dishes. Additionally, the 25-cent ice cones are a hit for people of all ages.

As a teenager, I worked here and I still love coming back. The food is just as amazing as I remember, and it’s a relaxing place to enjoy a meal. The staff are also fantastic!
