Final review: 1.4 stars rounded to 1 Better options: Koibito and Chula?s (4 stars) I've been coming here for a few years. The quality of the ingredients, portion sizes, prices and service have dropped off from a cliff as it is opening hours. Quality: Bad, D. The fish they serve is not fresh. My wife and I had food poisoning after the experience last night. Portions of fish and expensive sides are significantly smaller. Our $16 bowls were essentially reissalates with minimal portions of pampered fish. Price: relative to quality, it is garbage. Chula seafood and Koibito are significantly fresher, the fish content is MUCH larger, and prices are very comparable. Service: poor. The staff clearly sees high sales. The store smells like a urinal cake. Many critical changes are needed here.

I walked in at lunch hour today and the place was practically empty. The lady behind the counter walked up and with no smile whatsoever and no customer skills whatsoever rushed me through ordering what I wanted and in such an unfriendly, angry manner. It was clear she hated her job. I suddenly understood why the place was empty. They don't know the concept of customer service. Doubt this place will last. The food was just okay. The rice was underdone and hurt my teeth and you get a very small amount of fish. Won't be going back and cannot recommend it.

So this is a bad and good review, the customer service at this location has some learning to do. First of all the boy behind the counter was rude (not just to me) and when a regular customer came in immediately pushed my order to the side to complete hers (she must tip big) The manager cam in from a smoke (not the first time) and just ignored me standing there waiting while the boy assisted the customer that came in after me. What has happened to descent customer service. The food is always goo except the rice sometimes is a bit under cooked.

How I wish I could give them 0 stars. This was my first time here. I let the boy behind the counter know ?sorry this is our first time here?. We asked what do you recommend. The boy ? we have bowls here idk?. He was so snarky. Looked at us like we were stupid. I am sorry this was our first time here and we didn?t know what to get. I apologize for even entering the store. Then the people working laugh at us while we are walking out! I didn?t even purchase anything after the experience.

I walked in and was immediately scalded for ?looking at an old menu? on the wall. When I ordered half and half the guy making my bowl spilled half of the rice on the counter top and didn?t replace it. Then when I got my food it was absolutely drowning in sauce, so much I couldn?t even finish it because it was so salty. All in all, a pretty bad experience and I wouldn?t go back based on this experience.
