I've been to this bar several times, and I've only enjoyed the experience once. Most of the time, it’s extremely crowded, and you find yourself shoulder-to-shoulder with other patrons.

The food was rated 4.5, but the service was exceptional. Initially, there were no signs, no stand, and no host to greet us, making it unclear what to expect...

I attended the Electric City Best of 2017 award ceremony at Backyard Ale House last night, and it was a fantastic experience. They served a buffet for all the winners and guests that included pasta, pizza, and wings. Although I usually don't like wings, I was feeling quite hungry, so I decided to try some. I ended up regretting not taking more because they were absolutely delicious! They weren't too spicy, and the sauce had a mild flavor that I really enjoyed. The pizza was also excellent. I would definitely make an effort to dine there again. Five stars!

We had an excellent server named Amber. The service was exceptional, the timing for bringing out the food was perfect, and the dishes were amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Scranton, PA.
