Coney Island Lunch - Scranton

We were on a day trip to Scranton today, from the Albany, NY area, and had a late lunch this afternoon at CIL. Terrific food and great service. The counter reminded us of a bustling lunch counter at a downtown Woolworth's, from years ago. Have a great day guys!

Had a wonderful lunch today! That was the tastiest chili dog I've had in years and those gravy fries were to die for Our waitress was a sweetheart as well. I can't wait to go back!

The hotdogs with cheese and everything were the best. Cheeseburger with the Texas toppings was a hit. The fries are to die for. So many toppings it's hard to choose. One big hit for hubby was Cajun fries. We had double crunchy fries smothered in cheese and gravy. Wish it was closer.

Can’t get better than the old school feel and best Texas dogs/burgers I’ve had. Miss eating here when I have to go back to Baltimore! Love coming back home to Scranton for some good eats
