La Tonalteca - Scranton

We came in for lunch today. our first time being there and it certainly won't be our last. the restaurant itself is gorgeous and has an awesome atmosphere. the food was superb. we both got steak burrito bowls and it was ????. our server was so so nice and treated us so well. I really wish more restaurants treated their customers this well.

Good food, good drinks. service was a little slow but will definitely go back.

Great food but the last two times we've been there the hostess was dressed like she just got out of bed with ugly tight stretch pants and a t shirt. Not very appealing. The older blonde haired woman that use to be the hostess was always dressed nicely and always walked around trying to see if you needed anything when not busy.

Went here for my boyfriends birthday dinner , waited almost 10 minutes to be seated they put us in the parking lot with the sun beating on us , got up to move to indoors finally they let us sit on the patio . We ordered our food and drinks and the food took an hour to come out we asked our server how much longer it was going to be he shrugged his shoulder and said I don’t know and was laughing and said he would find out how much longer because we have already been waiting about 50 minutes at this point , he comes back and tells us another 6,8,10 minutes. It came out in 7 minutes and wasn’t that great , wasn’t really hot. Server seemed like he didn’t care he said kitchen was backed up and somebody was on vacation . Many other customers were also complaining about the wait time as well . This was a horrible first experience. Probably won’t go back .

Sensual friendly staff terrible cheesy decor. that is a strange place while I would not call it authentic, it is certainly not bad. what it does is his great value for the money. the portions are huge and the drinks are cold. I'm probably going back.
