Northern Light Espresso And Cafe

I visited the area during the day weekend of the presidents and many places were closed. A stranger on the street recommended this place and it was a jewel. Good coffee and have many milk options for us lactose intolerant friends. Also ordered a quiche and a burrito that were delicious. Cosy ambience. If you are in Scranton, I would recommend this place

Yummy almond milk cappuccino, friendly staff, good music, excellent work environment and meet up place. Books to read, and games to play. Lots of places to sit. Clean and cozy with fun decor and local art on the walls.

If you were to ask me where the best place to grab a cup of coffee has been out of all the places I’ve had the pleasure of trying, I would without a doubt hands down recommend Northern Light Espresso Bar in Scranton! I’ve been dreaming of their coffee since I first visited and now make it a point to stop by any chance I get up to the Scranton area! Without fail, they have made me the richest, creamiest, chocolatiest iced mocha latte that I have ever had in my life each time I have dropped by. In addition to their incredible coffee, Northern Light also offers tea, baked goods and more! You have got to try this place out for yourself! Absolutely worth the drive up here for the coffee alone.

This has been my favorite Scranton cafe for the past two decades. It has always been an escape for me, a lovely place to go and recharge, meet with friends, refresh on a long day and make the most of the short days. The quality of food and drink never disappoint. The staff is always beautifully welcoming competent. There is space for chatting with friends as well as space for quiet studying or working. My least favorite part is trying to find a parking spot, as it is on the square. But once you do, it is a great central location to wander and explore downtown. Absolutely worth a visit!
