The Railyard Restaurant Bar - Scranton

Went here with some friends after work and the food was amazing. Only thing better were the drinks. Our server was very friendly. looking forward to going back very soon.

First off, there was underage girls in here getting kicked out which was weird that they were even let in. It was a whole big scene. Second, I asked my sister how much should I tip on my $18 tab for drinks. She gave me advice on how she tips . We then get rudely interrupted by the bartender saying he doesn't suggest tipping that way that the bartenders will not put alcohol in the drink will purposely ignore you. I'm confused because I do not have tip. It is not required. Your job as a bartender is to serve alcohol. But this bartender basically said that's how they get down at this establishment! The music is good but service is whack definitely wouldn't recommend.

Food was delicious, service was friendly and helpful, went here for my son's birthday and everyone loved it! Will be returning!

We stopped in for brunch. It was not busy and we waited 45 minutes for food. We ordered chicken and waffles and the waffle was rubbery as if it was sitting under a heat lamp with a cover for a good bit. The railroad omlette was not bad, but the home fries were average at best. The bottle of ketchup on the table was gross. I asked for another bottle and when I opened the lid there were steam vapors that left the bottle. The ketchup was bad and most likely a result of them continuing to refill versus throw out. Coffee was not hot either. When it came time to pay we waited for a long time to cash out. It was a disappointment. Atmosphere was the best part of it all.

Yum! A really nice place to have a good local meal. Great atmosphere. Unique mixed drinks as part of specials. I had the captain Morgan spiced rum ale. Reasonable prices. Go here!
