The clams I had were the best I've ever tasted. The scallops were perfectly cooked as well, and the seafood chowder was incredible. I can't wait to have more!
The food was decent, though the lobster roll was reasonably priced at $18.95. The lobster was fresh and there was a good amount, but it felt like there was hardly any mayo in it. While I don’t expect a lot of mayo in a lobster roll, a little is definitely necessary! The grilled cheese sandwich was good, and the fries were tasty as well, but at $7.95 for a small portion, they felt overpriced (the menu even listed them at $6.95, so they need to update their prices!). Also, be prepared to double-check your bill. I was charged $41.50 when it should have been around $39. When I brought this to the cashier's attention, they only refunded me $1.10. While it wasn't a huge discrepancy, when you're already spending nearly $40 for lunch, being overcharged is frustrating! Overall, my experience wasn’t the worst, but I probably wouldn’t return. There’s a reason I usually choose Brown's; they truly have the best seafood in the area!
The clams here are absolutely delicious—definitely the best on the Seacoast. They have a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors that go beyond just a fried coating. This place is a must-visit before the season wraps up!
