Whenever we are in Seal Beach, we always make sure to stop by this restaurant for their delicious Philly cheesesteaks. The portions are generous with plenty of meat, freshly baked bread, and tasty fries. The staff is friendly and accommodating despite the slightly outdated decor. Don't be discouraged by the appearance, the food is fantastic.

I have been frequenting HB locations for years, but lately I have noticed a decline in food quality. The prices have gone up, but the meat now seems more like minced meat rather than steak. All three locations seem to have raised their prices while lowering their food standards.

The cheesesteaks here are the best, but I still prefer the ones back home in the Lehigh Valley, PA.

I was very excited to find John's Philly Grille in Huntington Beach, as I had enjoyed their great sandwiches there before. However, when I visited this location and asked if it was the same, they assured me it was. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that it was not the same at all. The staff seemed friendly and welcoming, but there were three of them standing around while the dirty tables were left uncleaned. The sandwich itself was not what I expected - the bread was hard and crusty on one side, leaving me wondering where it had been stored.
