El Migueleno - Seaside

Walked in to the restaurant and was immediately greeted, even though they were serving a party of 16. Was provided a menu and a few minutes to look it over, no pressure, ordered the bistec encebollado, and a couple of bean cheese pupusas, as well as the orchata. Everything was served hot, perfectly cooked. The steak was so tender I was able to cut it with a fork. The salsa was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The pupusas were full of beans, cheese, yet not greasy. Not sure why this place only scores a 4.2 but it’s 5 star in my travels and lord knows I’ve been just about everywhere in my lifetime.

This restaurant was an amazing find and is a must visit for lovers of Salvadorian food. Having lived in El Salvador for two years I can promise that the pupusas served there are legit and also boast loroco as an option, a condiment not every restaurant has. The atmosphere here is also very friendly with authentic loud music and kind waiters. If I had the opportunity I would be a regular here, but the least I can do is write this glowing review for anyone deciding if they should eat here. 5 stars!

Authentic Mexican Restaurant. We are visiting from out of town, working on a project and we found this restaurant while driving down the street. We stopped in, and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the service was very nice as well. The home made corn tortillas are out of this world delicious!

This was my first time trying pupusas and I now understand the hype! I returned and tried the crab and shrimp enchiladas, and they were just as delicious. I can see why my sister and brother-in-law love this place. Thank you for the tasty food!
