Ferdi's Creole - Seaside

This place is the real deal! I can't wait to return and try more items from the menu. Ferdi may be gone, but the legend lives on—it's all about the CREOLE! The spices here bring everything to life and are infused with genuine love! This is definitely not your typical fast food spot!

Perfectly preserved since 1988, this place is undeniably legendary. With its brown tiles, faded business cards, and comics so worn you can't find the punchline, it's a must-visit before it's gone! My muffuletta had that distinct '88 flavor as well. While the meat was sliced fresh to order, the ham did exhibit some discoloration. I wasn't expecting pimento cheese, and the olive tapenade didn't quite hit the mark. It's a nostalgic relic, but it doesn't seem to have much of a future ahead.

My favorite dishes are the blackened chicken, pepper steak, and veggie sandwich. The burgers served on Fridays are always made to order, which is great! You can choose to dine in or take out, but please note they only accept cash. If you're in a hurry, it's a good idea to call ahead!

The menu is simply fantastic, and every dish is delicious! I can’t express enough how exceptional the quality and flavor of the food are here. I always bring my out-of-town guests, and they’re never disappointed. The shakes are the best around, and the red beans and rice and jambalaya are just perfect. I won’t reveal my favorite dish since it’s so popular that it often sells out. How can we get more restaurants like this in Seaside?

Whatever you do, DO NOT order the Chicken Curry. I literally had to throw away because of the amount of salt that went into this dish. I don't have that issue, but if you have high blood pressure, this will kill you and I am neither kidding nor exaggerating
