Il Nido - Seattle

It?s our 3rd time here and we absolutely love it!! Every dish was very flavorful and the cocktail we ordered was great and interesting. Brought our wine corkage fee was $30 which is fair. Maybe add fish on the mains also the hostess was dismissive and a bit rude. Our waitress was delightful and superb.

I must say that this restaurant excels in its food, atmosphere, and service! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, greeting us both before and after our meal. We started with the prosciutto and burrata, followed by two delicious pastas. Each dish was full of flavor, showcasing a perfect balance of ingredients that complemented each other beautifully. The dessert was also outstanding. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem at Alki Beach.

We loved our experience at Il Nido and it was well worth the wait (we made our reservation a month ago . The prosciutto (aged 24m and burrata dish and focaccia to start were both amazing. The fazzoletti mushroom handkerchief pasta was one of the best pastas I?ve ever had. The bucciati with wild boar ragu had great flavor but it was done a bit too al dente for our taste. However it was still great! Overall the romantic ambience and great service (thanks Gloria! really made the experience wonderful.

The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and extremely friendly staff ready with lots of expertise and suggestions if you need them. We had a good variety of food, all of which turned out great. The flavors were distinct, and some seasonal specials were particular highlights. Unfortunately, we ran out of room for dessert, but my friend needed to get extra focaccia to take home.

We wanted a place to celebrate a special occasion and love Italian food. Il Nido checked all of the boxes! The servers were so friendly and personable, the dining room had tons of natural light, and the food was downright incredible. I would?ve never thought to put an egg yolk on top of pasta (despite eating and making spaghetti carbonara more times than I care to admit), but now I want to try doing that at home. They do take reservations on Resy, but the reservation system opens up 30 days in advance and fills up quickly. So plan ahead you won?t regret it!
