Beautiful offer of omakase and selection of the sake. we also enjoyed the spicy coconut lobster soup. fyi- the omakase is served on platelets; not of course.

Overall, decent experience. even though they sat us beside a family with children and between another table that had a few next to us. it would have been better to have a private stand (where we celebrated my birthday) and I was really excited about this sushi spot. we also tried to call them several times to ask them what time would be best to postpone our reservation and make sure that we had a stand reserved, but they never answered. happy hour selection: a set of options, sashimi set was ok (the sashima cuts were huge and seemed somehow fresh,) unagi roll was okay. I appreciated the edamame they gave us at the beginning. not sure if I would like to book more on an open table (also with the requests and call that I make in the restaurants.) also I would not go here if they were looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant. too many children and not suitable if they want a romantic date at night. food and service was differentiated.
