Sushi Kosho - Sebastopol

Excellent quality sashimi and sliced thin as it should be, but in these days is so often not. seaweed salat needed to marinate longer; dressing had fallen down and the soultang on top was untouched and tasteless (seaweed really has no taste for itself; it is nutritious, but a 'textur' eat) and left in big unpleasant lump poor knife work. oshitashi was roughly boiled to a muddy olive green; it should be a bright, squeaky, shiny dark green, only parcooked. wagyu nativity was pre-cut and good, old-hearted tasted like it had too much miraculous in it? it was a bit strange that I also expected a small Chile heating from a 'korean BBQ sauce', but there were none. the service was good, a bit perfunctory. location is on the way of acre pizza, btw.

Super tasty Japanese fare with a California twist. Lovely airy dining space, attentive service and good wine list. Very reasonably priced.

It was the new year and we went for an early dinner. we ordered several things and I decided to keep a menu that our waitress says we can order later. we have finished our bubbly and twice the people came to take away our tellers. next they presented the bill. we were shocked. I checked the time. it was 6:45 and then the restaurant website checked. they close at 8. there was no need for our table as he was almost abandoned. of course it was a bit out of the way. love this place, but that was weird!

We love sushi kosho. every meal is consistent and the service is fast, friendly, professional.

Always tasty, but is expensive as the portions are not large. typical spending for me there are 40-$50 per person without drinks.
