Hiro's Sushi Bar Japanese Restaurant

Didn't really know where to eat as we were driving into Sedona over the weekend and I'm happy we chose this place we found through yelp. Honestly some of the best sushi we've had. Everything was so fresh and tasty! Very fast and friendly service.

Food: no Atmosphere: no Service: ok Way overpriced for pre-cut fish. Bland but not bland in a 'quality sushi ' way. Ok. Just kind of sucked. As my eleven year old put it. This sushi was pedestrian. Come on Sedona.

My daughter loved the California Rolls. I ordered the Sukiyaki bowl, which was savory. The Chicken Karaage was crispy, but the meat was on the dry side. The service was very good and the staff were all very friendly.

If you like Sushi, this is the place to go to in Sedona. Everything we had was delicious and the service was impeccable. We came late, just about 30 minutes before they closed but they treated us just as courteously as everyone else. When one waitress put the receipt on our table, the other waitress turned it upside down just to show us that we are not in a rush. The restaurant looks nice and you feel comfortable and welcome.

Fantastic place, super friendly staff and a very cute small place. Miso soup was super flavorful and the fish all tasted very fresh. Tuna, salmon and hamachi nigiri were the mvp, the dragon roll was fine, did not blow me away. I would have liked the option for less sodium soy sauce, as everything dipped tasted VERY salty.
